Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Rapes: Two women, 19 and 45, were walking in the 1400 block of N. Mount St. about 3 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, got out of a car, forced them into the vehicle and drove them about two blocks to Lorman Street, where they were taken into a house and raped. The men fled, and the women went to the their homes and called police. Both victims were treated at Mercy Medical Center. No arrests had been made. The women could not describe the car.

Carjacking: A male motorist, 25, was stopped at West North Avenue and North Bentalou Street about 5:20 a.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a rifle, forced their way into his Honda Accord. In the 3100 block of Tioga Parkway, the men forced him from the car and drove off. The car has tags HAW 028.

Robbery: Two teen-age girls were at North Stricker Street and Penrose Avenue about 11 p.m. Wednesday when an apparently unarmed man robbed one of them of her cellular phone and $5.

Burglary: A thief disabled a burglar alarm at St. Paul United Methodist Church in the 1000 block of W. Saratoga St. on Wednesday, entered and stole a 19-inch screen television valued at $100.

Northern District

Stolen car: A blue four-door 1985 Cadillac with tags HZL 069 was stolen Wedneday in the 2600 block of Boone St.

Southeastern District

Stolen car: A maroon two-door 1990 Nissan with tags DZV 929 was stolen Tuesday in the 1400 block of Fleet St.

Burglary: Someone broke into a dentist's office in the 300 block of S. Patterson Park Ave. through a bathroom window Wednesday and stole $15.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A green 1998 Ford Windstar van with tags ZSP 662 was stolen Wednesday from an apartment building parking lot in the 5100 block of Carmine Ave.

Theft: Computer equipment valued at $800 was stolen Wednesday from a city Department of Recreation and Parks building in the 3600 block of W. Mulberry St.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A gold-colored 1992 Plymouth with tags HVR 663 was stolen Wedneday in the 3000 block of Thorndale Ave.

Stolen car: A silver-colored four-door 1991 Honda Accord with tags HVN 288 was stolen Wednesday in the 6000 block of Western Run Drive.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A water heater and gas furnace, all valued at $900, were stolen Wednesday from a house being built in the 9800 block of Greenbriar Way.
