In a Sunday article about Mayor Martin O'Malley's first year in office, The Sun incorrectly reported that the Police Department was $10 million over budget, halfway through the fiscal year. In fact, the department is estimated to be $10 million over budget for the entire fiscal year, which ends June 30.
The Sun regrets the errors.
