The NFL playoff possibilities for Week 16:

AFC East

Miami: Clinches playoff berth with win or tie (vs. Indianapolis on Sunday). Miami clinches AFC East with win (vs. Indianapolis on Sunday) and New York Jets loss or tie (vs. Detroit).

New York Jets: Clinch playoff berth with win (vs. Detroit) or with Pittsburgh loss or tie (vs. Washington) and loss by Indianapolis (Sunday vs. Miami).

Also still alive: Indianapolis.

AFC Central

Tennessee: Has clinched playoff berth. It clinches AFC Central with win (vs. Cleveland) and Ravens loss or tie (vs. Arizona). If Tennessee wins AFC Central, it can clinch first-round playoff bye with Oakland loss (vs. Seattle) or Miami loss or tie (vs. Indianapolis). If Tennessee wins AFC Central and both Oakland loses (vs. Seattle) and Miami loses or ties (vs. Indianapolis), then Tennessee clinches home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Ravens: Have clinched playoff berth.

Also still alive: Pittsburgh.

AFC West

Oakland: Has clinched playoff berth. Oakland clinches AFC West with win (vs. Seattle) and Denver loss or tie (vs. Kansas City). Oakland can also clinch AFC West and first-round playoff bye with win (vs. Seattle) and Denver loss or tie (vs. Kansas City) and either Miami loss or tie (vs. Indianapolis) or loss by Tennessee (vs. Cleveland) and loss or tie by Ravens (vs. Arizona). Oakland can clinch AFC West and home-field advantage throughout playoffs with win (vs. Seattle) and losses or ties by Denver (vs. Kansas City), Miami (vs. Indianapolis), and Ravens (vs. Arizona) and loss by Tennessee (vs. Cleveland).

Denver: Has clinched playoff berth.

NFC East

New York Giants: Clinch NFC East with win (vs. Dallas) and clinch first-round playoff bye with win (vs. Dallas) and losses or ties by both St. Louis (vs. Tampa Bay) and New Orleans (vs. Atlanta). If Giants lose, they still clinch playoff berth with Detroit loss or tie (vs. New York Jets) or loss by either Tampa Bay (vs. St. Louis) or New Orleans (vs. Atlanta) or New Orleans tie (vs. Atlanta) and St. Louis loss (vs. Tampa Bay).

Philadelphia: Has clinched playoff berth.

Also still alive: Washington.

NFC Central

Minnesota: Has clinched a playoff berth. If Minnesota wins (vs. Green Bay), it wins NFC Central and clinches home-field advantage throughout playoffs. If Minnesota ties (vs. Green Bay), it wins NFC Central and clinches first-round playoff bye, and if New York Giants lose as well (vs. Dallas), Minnesota clinches home-field advantage throughout playoffs. If Minnesota loses (vs. Green Bay), it still wins NFC Central with Tampa Bay loss or tie (vs. St. Louis).

Tampa Bay: Clinches playoff berth with win (vs. St. Louis).

Also still alive: Detroit, Green Bay.

NFC West

New Orleans: Clinches NFC West with win (vs. Atlanta) and St. Louis loss (vs. Tampa Bay). New Orleans clinches playoff berth with win (vs. Atlanta) and either Detroit loss or tie (vs. New York Jets) or Tampa Bay loss (vs. St. Louis).

St. Louis: Clinches playoff berth with win (vs. Tampa Bay).

Teams eliminated

AFC: Buffalo, New England, Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Kansas City, Seattle, San Diego.

NFC: Dallas, Arizona, Chicago, Carolina, San Francisco, Atlanta.
