Hebron's loss, Randle is Scorps' gain

Tiffaney Randle, an All-Howard County basketball player last season at Mount Hebron, moved recently into the Oakland Mills district and will play for the Scorpions this season.

A 5-foot-7 shooting guard, Randle averaged 13.8 points last season and led the team in rebounding (5.4). She made 20 three-point baskets.

Randle, a senior who also was second-team All-Metro last winter, joins All-County and All-Metro selection Rayna DuBose at Oakland Mills. DuBose, a 6-foot-2 center bound for Virginia Tech, averaged 18.2 points last season. Oakland Mills was 15-9 last season; Mount Hebron was 21-4.
