What's for dinner?

Turkeys eat seeds, berries and insects.

Talking Turkey...

Turkeys are large birds with strong legs. Adult males, called "Toms," have spurs on their legs (for fighting) and different tail feathers (for display) than the females. Males also have large, red wattles hanging from their chins, used for display and to attract females.

After mating, the female turkey builds a small nest and lays 8-15 eggs.
