No. 5 Loyola (13-3-2, 9-2-2) scored two goals in the opening 10 minutes of the second half to pace it to a 2-0 victory over No. 9 Archbishop Curley (12-6-1, 7-6) yesterday at Curley.

Dons sophomore Kevin Mezzadra picked up a loose ball in the box and fed classmate Andrew Henciak, who beat Friars goalie T.J. Lapinski five minutes into the second half.

Four minutes later, Henciak struck again, heading sophomore Dave Feazell's cross off a Curley defender and into the back of the net.

Senior Steve Smith had five saves for Loyola, though he was rarely tested. Senior Mike Lookingland controlled the defensive third for the Dons.

Lapinski had 11 saves for Curley.
