Aside from the theatrics, Pearson says, it's the show's content that really makes it distinctive. "It spans the generations," he says.
Indeed it does. "Tarzan" and "The Jungle Book" are classics from another era, remastered for today, and "The Lion King" is well on its way to becoming a canonized member of the club.
"When parents bring their kids to the show," Pearson says, "each generation may not leave humming the same song, but they'll leave humming a song they heard tonight. They'll leave with memories they forgot they had."
