Ellicott City businesses to open on Halloween for trick-or-treaters

Historic Ellicott City's businesses plan to open their doors to trick-or-treaters.

Children ages 12 and younger can trick-or-treat from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street. Participating businesses will have pumpkin posters in their windows.

Last year, organizers said, about 500 costumed youngsters turned out.
