Baltimore City
Southwestern District
Drug arrests: District drug enforcement officers raided a house in the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St. on Saturday, arrested two people, and seized suspected cocaine valued at $3,600 and $445 in cash. The arrests followed alleged drug activity witnessed by Detective Pete Sullivan. Gary Stewart, 41, of the 2400 block of Winchester St. and Anita Harper, 32, of the 1200 block of Ashburton St. were charged with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Drug arrests: Narcotic officers raided a house in the 500 block of S. Smallwood St. about 6 p.m. Friday and seized suspected cocaine valued at more than $1,000 and $240 in cash. Nathaniel Monroe, 19, of the 900 block of Bethune Road and Maurice Johnson-Bey, 18, of the 1500 block of Gorsuch Ave. were charged with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute and were processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Southeastern District
Drug arrests: Acting on complaints from the community, district and federal narcotic officers entered a house in the 200 block of S. Highland Ave. Friday night and arrested Nancy Pederson, 30, and Michelle Pederson, 23, both of that address, on warrants charging them with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute. Suspected cocaine valued at nearly $600 was seized.
Western District
Arrest: Officers Brett Lawman and Paul Geare were investigating a domestic complaint at a house in the 1900 block of Walbrook Ave. on Saturday when they smelled the odor of burning marijuana. After obtaining a search warrant, the officers entered the basement apartment and seized a bag of marijuana, more than 200 grams of suspected crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Todd Lee Smith, 27, the occupant of the unit, was charged with multiple narcotic violations.
Eastern District
Cutting: When an employee of Great Panda Carryout in the 900 block of N. Caroline St. approached two male customers who didn't pay for soft drinks about 10 p.m. Sunday, one of the men pulled a knife and cut the employee, 24, on the left shoulder. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center.
Northwestern District
Arson: A 1993 Isuzu Rodeo with Pennsylvania tags BRW 1265 was set ablaze early Sunday in the 5500 block of Clover Road. Damage was set at $10,000.
School burglary: Police continue to seek the person or persons who broke into Pimlico Middle School in the 3500 block of W. Northern Parkway on Oct. 3 and set fire to two wheelchairs used by disabled students. The wheelchairs were valued at $700.
Theft: A bicycle valued at nearly $180 was stolen Sunday from the front porch of a house in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Ave.
Northeastern District
Theft: Two male guests of a resident of the 2400 block of Bridgehampton Drive left the apartment yesterday and took the occupant's two television sets.
Northern District
Burglary: Two mountain bicycles valued at $400 were stolen Sunday from a garage in the 4100 block of St. Paul St.
Theft: A cellular phone, phone charger, tennis racket, umbrella and cassette tapes, all valued at $194, were stolen Sunday from a 1991 Subaru parked in the 800 block of E. Lake Ave.
Burglary: While the owner of a 20-inch mountain bicycle was in a store in the 3000 block of Wylie Ave. on Sunday, someone stole the bicycle, valued at $200, that he had parked outside.
Southern District
Burglary: Power and hand tools and an air compressor, all valued at nearly $1,900, were stolen yesterday from a house being renovated in the 1300 block of S. Charles St.
Baltimore County
Essex Precinct
Burglary: A 1997 Yamaha dirt bike and a 2000 Honda all-terrain vehicle, all valued at more than $6,000, were stolen Sunday from Dirt First Inc. in the 8800 block of Citation Drive.
Wilkens Precinct
Robbery: A woman, 26, was in the 2400 block of Tionesta Road about 9 p.m. Sunday when two men she knows robbed her of a purse containing cash and property, all valued at $70.
Robbery: Two male teens attacked a boy, 15, in the 5300 block of East Drive about 7:30 p.m. Sunday and robbed him of jewelry, money and a pager, all valued at $245.
