Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Robbery try/cutting: A man was walking in the 4800 block of Haddon Ave. about 9 p.m. Sunday when another man walked out of an alley and asked if he had drugs. When the victim said he didn't, the other man pulled a knife and demanded his money. During a struggle, the victim suffered a 2-inch laceration to his left hand. The armed man fled and the victim refused medical attention.

Robbery: Three males, one with a handgun, robbed a woman, 35, of $7 in the 4200 block of Park Heights Ave. about 6 a.m. Sunday.

Western District

Robbery: A woman was at Mondawmin Mall about 3 p.m. Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $20.

Robbery: A man suffered head and body injuries about 10 a.m. Sunday when another man kicked and struck him while robbing him of a book bag containing cash, cartons of cigarettes and other property in the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Ave.

Eastern District

Robbery: Two men attacked a woman, 30, in the 1600 block of N. Caroline St. about 6 a.m. Sunday and robbed her of a purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $120.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A boy, 14, was riding his Tomas-brand mo-ped in the 100 block of S. Patterson Park Ave. about 1 a.m. Sunday when a man got out of a black pickup truck, struck the boy and stole the mo-ped, valued at $1,300. The man drove away in the truck accompanied by another man.

Southern District

Burglary: A laptop computer, videocassette recorder, a camcorder and 125 compact discs, all valued at more than $5,600, were stolen from a house in the first block of E. Randall St. by someone who entered through a rear kitchen window Sunday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Police were in the 6300 block of York Road early Sunday when they heard the sound of glass breaking and saw two men running to the rear of nearby WMAR-TV. Police with dogs chased the men, who got away. Police learned that General Nutrition Center at 6360 York Road was broken into and that more than $300 was stolen.

Burglary: A leaf blower of unknown value was stolen from a shed in the 8200 block of Rider Ave. during the weekend.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A 20-inch bicycle of unknown value was stolen Sunday from the front porch of a house in the 6500 block of Langdale Road.
