Police investigate robbery at Jessup convenience store

Howard County police are investigating a robbery at a High's store Saturday night in Jessup.

A man entered the store, in the 7900 block of Washington Blvd., around 10:40 p.m. and demanded money from the store clerk, police said. The suspect indicated he had a gun, police said.

The suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash. He is described as a white male in his 30s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing around 180 pounds. He was wearing jeans, a blue sweat shirt and red bandana and had his hair pulled back in a ponytail.
