Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player and a radar detector were stolen from a vehicle parked Saturday in the 5800 block of York Road.

Stolen vehicle: A 1993 Dodge Shadow with tags GJL 093 and equipped with an anti-theft device was stolen Saturday in the 1900 block of St. Dunstans Road.

Southern District

Robbery: A deliveryman, 40, was in the 2900 block of Round Road about 8 p.m. Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $200.

Burglary: Several pieces of gold jewelry, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1500 block of Light St. The thief entered through a broken bathroom window that had been covered with a piece of cardboard.

Eastern District

Shooting: Two men were talking in the 1400 block of N. Chester St. about 1:15 a.m. Saturday when a gunman came out of an alley and fired at least four shots, hitting one of the men, 20, in the left hip, right buttock and groin. He was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The gunman escaped.

Assault: When the owner of TV/VCR Repairs in the 2400 block of E. Monument St. refused Saturday to return $20 a male customer gave him to lay away a 22-inch televison, the customer threw the television onto the floor then pulled a handgun and pointed it at the owner. No injuries were reported. The gunman was being sought.

Stolen vehicle: A teal-colored 1994 Honda Accord with tags 507 AVF was stolen Saturday in the 800 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Prince Telecom Holding in the 4100 block of Amos Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 7 p.m. Saturday.

Robbery: A man, 35, was in the 3000 block of W. Belvedere Ave. about 6 a.m. Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A boy, 12, was riding his 20-inch bicycle in the 100 block of N. Ellwood Ave. about 5 p.m. Saturday when several other boys shoved him off the bicycle, struck him in the face and stole it.

Theft: A purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $2,000, was stolen Friday from a house in the 400 block of Angelsea St. Burglary: More than $800 was stolen early Saturday from the Mustang Inn in the 3200 block of Eastern Ave. The thief entered after breaking the glass front door.

Assault: After several men ordered food at Mary's Carryout in the 1600 block of Bank St. about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, one of them sprayed the owner in the face with a chemical irritant. The men fled. The owner was treated at the scene by Fire Department medics.

Burglary: A mountain bicycle and a cellular phone, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 3100 block of Elliott St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Shooting: After two men ordered drinks at Wishing Well, a nightclub in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive, about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, one of them pulled a handgun and fired at least two shots, wounding the owner in the abdomen and a female bystander in a hand. The men fled. The owner was treated at Sinai Hospital's shock-trauma unit, and the woman was treated at the Raymond Curtis Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery try: A Pizza Boli's deliveryman was about to deliver food to a house in the 3700 block of Julian Court about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman demanded his money. The deliveryman grabbed the gun from the man, who fled. The gun was a BB pistol.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 4300 block of Spring Ave. Saturday and stole a motor scooter of unknown value.
