Proposed transit service between Glen Burnie and Laurel will be the subject of an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Glen Burnie Improvement Association, 19 Crain Highway.
The service would be provided by Corridor Transportation Corp., a private, nonprofit operation that provides bus service in parts of Howard, Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
It would include stops at the Cromwell light rail station, the Arundel Mills mall under construction in Hanover and Laurel Center Mall.
Corridor's transit administrator, Ray Ambrose, said the new line would benefit employees at Arundel Mills while providing a suburban transit link. The fare would be $1.
"What we want to get is public response to the proposed route and schedule," he said.
