House candidate DeArmon to visit Carroll tomorrow

Donald M. DeArmon, Democratic candidate for Congress in Maryland's 6th District, is touring the western counties this week.

He will visit Carroll County at 9 a.m. tomorrow to tour Lehigh Portland Cement Co. in Union Bridge.

He will open his campaign headquarters at 6 p.m. today at 49 Carroll St., Frederick.

Schaefer will speak at business breakfast

Taneytown holds a monthly business breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at Thunderhead Bowling Center at Routes 140 and 832.

The next meeting will be Sept. 14. State Comptroller William Donald Schaefer will speak.
