Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man, 20, was riding his bicycle in the 4400 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about 11 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by four men who knocked him to the ground and stole the bicycle. He suffered facial injuries and was treated at the scene by Fire Department medics.

Robbery: Two men assaulted a woman, 35, in the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road Monday and stole her backpack containing property valued at $20.

Robbery: A man, 41, was riding his bicycle in the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road about 3 a.m. Monday when two men knocked him to the ground and stole the bicycle, valued at $400.

Stolen car: A green 1998 Dodge with tags HAK 834 was stolen Monday from the parking lot at the Reisterstown Road Shopping Center in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Two men, one 80 and the other 87, were in the 4600 block of Old Frederick Road about 7:40 p.m. Monday when a man who indicated he was armed with a handgun robbed the eldest of $7. The other man had no money.

Robbery: A man armed with an unknown weapon robbed a man, 37, of $100 about 7 a.m. Monday in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave.

Burglary: A 16-inch chain saw and a lawnmower, all valued at $400, were stolen Monday from a garage in the 4400 block of Old Frederick Road.

Western District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Lauretta Ave. through the front door Monday and stole a 19-inch screen televison, a videocassette recorder and a raincoat, all valued at more than $400.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Officer assaulted/arrest: After Officer Cathleen Dover stopped a woman in a 1998 Volkswagen at Linkside Drive and Deanwood Road for speeding about 4:20 a.m. Sunday, the woman tried to run Dover down. A few blocks away in the 1100 block of Linkwood Drive, Dover again stopped the car and arrested the driver, 23, who was charged with a traffic violation and assaulting a police officer. Dover was not injured.

Burglary: Someone entered the Crack Pot Seafood Restaurant in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Blvd. through the roof Monday and removed an undisclosed sum of money from an automated teller machine.

Garrison Precinct

Shooting/theft/arrest: About 9:30 p.m. Sunday, two men confronted three teens at Church Lane and Milford Mill roads about a theft earlier that day and one of the youths shot one in the hand and back. The youths drove off in a 1994 Infiniti belonging to one of the men. Near the scene, police stopped the car and arrested the youths. Charges were pending. The wounded man was in stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Three gunmen robbed the KFC restaurant in the 2200 block of E. Joppa Road of $200 about 11:25 a.m. Monday and locked the employees in a freezer. Moments after the robbers fled, they exited the freezer and called police.

North Point Precinct

Theft from boat: At least two fish-finders, three radios, fishing tackle and tools, all valued at more than $3,500, were stolen Monday from a 26-foot Sport Fisher boat moored on Jones Creek near the 7200 block of Bucher Road.

Theft: A woman, 58, was at Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. Monday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $500.
