Baltimore County police blocked off part of McDonogh Road for more than five hours last night after a resident of the 4300 block of Star Circle fled her home at 5:33 p.m. and reported that her husband had threatened her with a gun during a domestic dispute.

McDonogh Road was barricaded between Winands Road and Painters Mill Road while police tried to contact the man by bullhorn and telephone.

Police moved in at 11:20 p.m. and found the man dead in the front hallway of his townhouse, an apparent suicide.
