CEM Homebuilders has a model under construction and 26 lots available at Westwinds, a golf course community outside New Market in Frederick County.

The community will feature 33 homes ranging in size from 2,800 to 3,750 square feet. CEM Homebuilders is offering six kinds of home designs with prices ranging from $279,000 to $369,000.

All homes come with public water and sewer, and natural gas heat and cooking.

Standard features include brick fronts, brass light fixtures and crown molding in the living room and dining room.

The model under construction, called the Madison Leigh, starts at $369,990 for 3,750 square feet and has a partial stone front and double side-load garage.

The first floor has a two-story foyer with splitting staircase, 12-by-13-foot living room, 12-by- 13-foot library, 20-by-25-foot two-story family room, 11-by-18-foot kitchen, 10-by-15-foot breakfast room, powder room, pantry and 12-by-15-foot dining room.

The second floor consists of an 18-by-22-foot master bedroom with 12-by-11-foot sitting room, master bath and walk-in closet. The rest of the second floor has a 16-by-13-foot bedroom, 12-by-12-foot bedroom, full bath, 11-by-12-foot bedroom and a half-wall hallway that looks down into the family room.

To get to Westwinds from Baltimore, take Interstate 695 to Interstate 70 west toward Frederick. Take Route 75 toward New Market, then take a left onto New London Road. Next, go left onto Gas House Pike to community on the left.
