What's for dinner

Kookaburras eat insects, rodents and small reptiles.

In the old gum tree...

The kookaburra watches from its perch on a tree branch for any small creature that might make a tasty meal. It lives in hollow trees, termite mounds, or holes in the walls of buildings and will defend its home by warning away other birds with a call that sounds like someone laughing!
