Hearing on amendment to sewage plan to be held

The Carroll County commissioners will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Francis Scott Key High School on the proposed amendment to the 1999 Carroll County Water and Sewerage Master Plan.

The amendment is for the Francis Scott Key Multi-Use Sewerage System to be incorporated into the master plan to treat and dispose of sewage that is generated by the high school.

Treated effluent would be piped to and discharged in a wetland on an adjoining property to the school.

The school is at 3825 Bark Hill Road near Uniontown.

Information: 410-386-2145.
