Theatre Hopkins. Annual open auditions for actors and technicians Saturday at Merrick Barn, Johns Hopkins University. Actors should take resumes and photographs along with at least one prepared piece. Those interested in technical work should take resume and any other pertinent material. Call 410-516-7159.

Pumpkin Theatre. Auditions for 2000-2001 season, which includes "Aladdin," "Rumpelstiltskin" and "The Princess and the Pea." Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Timothy's School for Girls, Greenspring Avenue. You have three minutes to sing, dance or perform a monologue of their choice. Accompanist is provided. Spirit Theatre. Gospel ensemble auditions for new season, which is scheduled to start in October. Needed are actors and stage hands. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at YWCA 128 W. Franklin St. Call 410-523-9843, Ext. 2 and 3.

Matthew Players. Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma." 7 p.m. Sunday and next Monday at Cardinal Shehan School auditorium, 5407 Loch Raven Blvd. All roles are open. Prepare a song and be ready to dance and recite from the script. Call 410-665-3682.

Bowie Community Theatre. Jay Presson Allen's comedy "Forty Carats." 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14-15 at Bowie Playhouse, Whitemarsh Park, Route 3 South, Bowie. Needed are six women, ages 17 to 60, and five men in their 20s to 60s. Performance dates are Oct. 13-28. Call 703-566-0900.
