A Somerset County woman was killed yesterday in Princess Anne when the car she was driving collided with an unmarked state police car driven by a trooper assigned to the executive protection unit in Annapolis, state police said.
Hazel M. Johnson, 73, of Crisfield was driving a 1986 Oldsmobile west on Route 675 about 5 p.m. when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic at northbound U.S. 13 and collided with a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria, police said. Johnson died at the scene.
