Baltimore County police said they are looking for a 26-year-old man who allegedly raped a woman Tuesday night at her Essex home.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Wesley Morris Hannah, who has no fixed address and who is wanted on an unrelated warrant in Massachusetts that charges him with rape, kidnapping and assault.

In the Maryland case, Hannah is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree assault and first-degree burglary.

The Essex woman told police that a man that she knew forced his way into her home and punched her in the face in front of her young children. He then allegedly forced the children into another room and raped the woman, police said.

Police said the man left, stealing money and her 1989 red Chevrolet Cavalier. Police said the woman had obtained an ex parte order against Hannah on July 3.

Anyone with information should call Baltimore County police at 410-887-2198.
