Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Arrest: A Northeast Baltimore man wanted by Pennsylvania authorities for a Pittsburgh burglary Monday morning was arrested early yesterday after the stolen rental truck he was driving crashed into three trees and a traffic signal in the 1100 block of Brentwood Ave. at East Chase Street. The truck was being pursued by Pennsylvania State Police and Baltimore County police south on Interstate 83 into the city, where city police joined and the crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. The suspect was not injured. Samuel Hance, 54, of the 1700 block of Darley Ave. was charged with the Pittsburgh burglary and stealing the truck from Ryder Truck Rental in the 1500 block of E. Northern Parkway the same day as the burglary. He was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center. It was not known if any property taken in the burglary was recovered.

Southern District

Robbery: Waiting for a CSX train to pass, a man and woman were sitting in a car about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of Hollins Ferry Road when four men robbed them of jewelry and cash, all valued at nearly $2,500. The robbers assaulted the male driver and threatened to kill the woman. One man said he was armed with a handgun but did not display it.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Dunkin' Donuts in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road of more than $200 about 7:45 p.m. Monday.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Good Deal Laundry in the 4100 block of Patterson Ave. of $20 about 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Western District

Theft from auto/arrest: Police were in the 2200 block of Presbury St. about 4 a.m. Monday when they noticed a man holding a bag and sitting on the pavement next to a van that had been broken into. After interviewing the man, police charged him with theft. The bag contained property taken from the van.

Stolen car: A burgundy 1989 Oldsmobile Cierra with tags FXC 875 was stolen Monday in the 1500 block of Retreat St.

Southwestern District

Rape/arrest: A teen-age girl was raped Monday inside a house on Stafford Street. She was treated at Mercy Medical Center. A man, 28, was arrested and charged with rape. His identity was not available.

Burglary: A fax machine, answering machine, cordless telephone and computer equipment, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1900 block of N. Dukeland St. The thief entered through a window.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A woman, 40, was with two men inside a house in the 2500 block of Tivoly Ave. about 8:25 p.m. yesterday when one of them struck her in the face with a beer can, sprayed her with a chemical irritant and robbed her of nearly $200. The woman refused medical treatment and no arrest had been made.

Burglary: A television and stereo equipment, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen yesterday from a house in the 3400 block of Elmley Ave.

Burglary: Cartons of cigarettes valued at more than $600 were stolen yesterday from Cigarette Depot in the 6600 block of Belair Road. The thief entered through the front door.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man and woman assaulted another woman in a van in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd. about 2 p.m. Monday and robbed her of her purse containing $15,000 she had received recently in an insurance settlement. The victim said she was on her way to a bank to deposit the money when she accepted a ride from the couple. A man known as "Black" and "Tony" and a woman known as "Toya" are being sought

Burglary: A gas-powered trimmer, a compressor, tiller and a lawn mower, all valued at more than $1,100, were stolen Monday from a shed in the 9800 block of Pulaski Highway.

Parkville Precinct

Stolen car: A 1993 Pontiac Grand Am with tags DEL 586 was stolen in the first block of Mitnick Road late Monday night.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at $600 was stolen Monday from a garage in the 7500 block of Carroll Ave.

Theft: Someone entered the bedroom of a house in the 7500 block of Berkshire Road and stole a television valued at $500 Monday.
