Fangio CFO of Structural Preservation Systems

Structural Preservation Systems appointed Dan Fangio as chief financial officer for the Baltimore-based national specialty contractor. He is responsible for financial management and assist in business development, strategic planning and acquisitions. A certified public accountant, Fangio holds a master's degree in business administration from Loyola College and is active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Laser Applications names Miller plant manager

Laser Applications Inc. of Westminster named Dennis Miller plant manager. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Johns Hopkins University, he formerly was a national account manager for Alcore Inc., of Edgewood.


Ball Group promotes Miller to vice president

The Ball Group promoted Marlin Miller to vice president of creative services for the Owings Mills-based regional ad agency. He provides clients with strategic creative support and input to the firm's creative teams. A graduate of the York Academy of Arts, Miller joined the firm in 1988 as a senior art director.

Keidel joins 1st Mariner as CFO, executive VP

First Mariner Bank said Mark A. Keidel has joined the financial institution based in Canton as chief financial officer and executive vice president. His responsibilities include overseeing financial, profitability and regulatory reporting and planning as well as managing the investment portfolio and tax planning and compliance. A resident of Taneytown, the Frostburg State University graduate was formerly with Mason Dixon Bancshares.


Stout, Causey names Huntley, Burns managers

Stout, Causey & Horning P/A said Laura Huntley and Francis Burns have joined the Hunt Valley-based accounting firm as managers.

Huntley, in the firm's accounting and tax practice, was formerly with Arthur Andersen LLP. The Bel Air resident is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

A resident of Baltimore County, Burns is a graduate of Loyola College and manages the operations improvement practice. Both are certified public accountants.
