Two men killed in separate Md. road accidents

July 23, 2000

Two men were killed in separate accidents on Maryland roads this weekend.

Robert Scott Foster, 31, of Westminster was killed early yesterday on Route 30 near Frye Road in northwest Baltimore County when the Jeep he was driving north crossed the center line and collided with a southbound tractor-trailer, county police said.

The driver of the truck, Felix Timothy Stewart, 44, of Hurlock, Md., was treated at Carroll County General Hospital and released.

On the Eastern Shore late Friday, Billy Lee Belote, 42, of Stockton, Md., was killed when his Harley-Davidson motorcycle was hit by a 1995 Acura Integra. State police at Berlin said the car, driven by a 17-year-old boy, was heading north on Route 12, and turned onto Big Mill Road, striking the motorcycle, which was traveling south.

Both accidents were being investigated. The teen-ager in Friday's accident was not identified because he is a juvenile.
