Ever want to shoot hoops with Terps basketball coach Gary Williams? How 'bout lobbing a few with tennis champ Pam Shriver? Maybe shoot pool with the Ravens' Tony Banks, or the Orioles' Brady Anderson?

The Mid-Summer Fest "SportsORama" was a chance to party and play various games with sports celebs and raise money for the Joe Sandusky Fund of the Baltimore Community Foundation and the CollegeBound Foundation.

The partygoers browsed a bountiful buffet from Baltimore restaurants and danced to the music of O'Malley's March, starring none other than Charm City's hip (in black T-shirt) Mayor Martin O'Malley.

Among those mingling on the pier at the Baltimore Museum of Industry: Gerry Sandusky, WBAL-TV sports anchor and event host; Karen Bokram and Lisa Harris, event co-chairs; Ruth Sandusky McFadden, Bob McFadden and Lee Ann Sandusky, Sandusky Fund board members; Ken Hoffman, CollegeBound board chair; Joanne K. Glasser, J. Drexel Knight and Chuck Tildon, CollegeBound board members; Dr. Craig Spilman, CollegeBound executive director; Mark Mussina, eyada.com sports show host; Andy Lapayowker, Crown Central Petroleum deputy corporate counsel; Steve Davis, WBFF-TV sports anchor; Bruce Laird, former Baltimore Colt; Nicole Imhoff, Presidential Financial vice president; Cleveland Brister, Baltimore sports and facilities manager; Bill Persons, First Union Bank assistant vice president; Marilyn Pick, Baltimore Fitness and Tennis group fitness director; Frank Pilachowski, Central Building Supply sales manager; and Samantha Davis, UMBC alumni relations director.

The whole shebang raised $65,000 for the foundations, which provide grants to Baltimore students for a college education.
