July 18, 2000|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

Three gunmen leaped over a counter yesterday and robbed a Linthicum bank branch of an undisclosed amount of money, county police reported.

The holdup occurred about 9:45 a.m. at the Bank of America office in the 200 block of Benton Ave.

Police said the bandits all wore dark clothing and concealed their faces - one with a mask, another with dark sunglasses and the third with an Orioles bandana.

No one in the bank was harmed during the incident, police said.
