A Finksburg man was arrested on drug charges Monday after police found marijuana growing outside his mobile home, authorities said.

Douglas Charles Malinowski, 39, of the first block of E. Collins Circle was charged with manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released Monday night on $5,000 unsecured bond.

The arrest occurred about 6 p.m., after the Carroll County Drug Task Force received a tip about suspected drug activity at Todd Village Mobile Home Park off Old Westminster Pike, police said.

Police found a 20-inch-tall marijuana plant outside the home and several marijuana seeds in a bedroom, authorities said. Police also reported finding a bag of marijuana and a smoking device.
