Theft: Someone stole a Huffy children's bicycle about 3:30 p.m. Sunday from a back yard in the 600 block of Stirling St. Residents noticed the bike - worth about $60 - was missing shortly after leaving it outside.

Northwestern District

Theft: Someone stole a wallet and $17 from an office in the 7200 block of Park Heights Ave. about 10:50 a.m. yesterday.

Western District

Stolen vehicle: Someone stole a red 1990 Ford pickup truck from the 1800 block of Baker St. about 8:50 Sunday night. The truck's tag number is HHF 304.

Southwestern District

Theft from vehicle: Someone reached through the open passenger window of a 1988 International Tow Truck parked about 8:45 a.m. yesterday in the 900 block of S. Millington St. and stole a cellular phone valued at $100.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone cut the padlock to a fenced area of Deer Park Building Supply in the 9300 block of Liberty Road in Randallstown on Saturday and stole unknown items. The theft was discovered about 11:50 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary: Someone climbed through an unlocked rear window of an apartment in the 4400 block of Evamay Road in Pikesville sometime between Friday night and Saturday night and stole a Sony DVD player valued at $300.

Burglary: Someone stole $200 in cash and a storage bin from the High's store at 10550 Reisterstown Road, in Owings Mills about 11:50 p.m. Friday. An unknown suspect used a key to enter the side door and locked the front door before leaving.

Unarmed Robbery: A 14-year-old boy was attacked by several acquaintances about 3:35 p.m. Sunday near Buckingham and Prince George's roads in Owings Mills. They stole his blue tennis shoes and took $8 from his pockets. The suspects were spotted and arrested.

Home invasion/armed robbery: A 29-year-old woman who runs a group home in the 6700 block of Chisholm Drive in Owings Mills was confronted at gunpoint and forced into a closet about 9 p.m. Saturday. Two masked men - one in a skeleton or demon Halloween mask and the other with a blue or gray bandanna across his face - pushed open an unlocked door and pointed a small silver semiautomatic handgun at the woman and three residents in wheelchairs. The men stole $219 in cash, six video games valued at $240 and two necklaces valued at $550.

Woodlawn Precinct

Assault: A man was chased by a group of five suspects and struck in the back of the head with a baseball bat in the 7200 block of Rutherford Green Circle in Randallstown yesterday at about noon.

Home invasion/armed robbery: A woman entering her home in the 6400 block of Liberty Road yesterday was confronted by two men who said they had a gun. The men took the woman's diamond ring from her finger, her diamond earrings and a $20 bill before fleeing on foot.

Towson Precinct

Attempted first-degree murder: An inmate, 19, in the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson was attacked Sunday morning by another inmate, who sliced his throat ear with a razor blade. Lamont Robert Jones was taken to Sinai Hospital about noon and discharged about 3 p.m., according to a nursing supervisor. Narobi Brown, 22, was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
