State police offer reward for information on vandals who spray-painted Mount Airy sites

State police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for vandalizing several signs and buildings in Mount Airy last week.

According to police, vandals spray-painted several signs and buildings, including the entrance sign to Warfield Homes at Challedon, Mount Airy Middle School, the firemen's activities building and Twin Ridge Elementary School.

Another vandalism incident occurred Thursday night at Snell's Nursery and Greenhouses on Runkles Road.
