Fire station medic is accused of assault, sex abuse

A Westminster emergency medical technician has been charged with assaulting and sexually abusing a female volunteer last month.

John Edward Wilson, 24, of the 400 block of Kingsbury Way received a criminal summons charging him with second-degree assault and fourth-degree sexual offense, according to court documents.

The woman, who is not being named to protect her privacy, told Westminster police she was awakened while sleeping in a bunkroom at a fire station, according to court documents.

The defendant allegedly kissed the victim on the neck and touched her inappropriately, according to the documents.

The defendant left when she threatened to scream, according to the documents.

The defendant is a member of Westminster Volunteer Fire Company.
