Police seeking 2 men in carjacking of pickup

Baltimore police were searching O'Donnell Heights yesterday for two men who they said carjacked a pickup truck and forced two male occupants to take them to Baltimore County and withdraw money from an automatic teller machine.

Agent Angelique Cook-Hayes, a police spokeswoman, said the carjacking occurred about 1:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Dundalk Ave. in Southeast Baltimore and that the driver was forced to drive to First Union Bank in the 1600 block of Merritt Boulevard, where he withdrew money.

Police said the driver was left behind and the passenger dropped off in the 6700 block of Hudson St., just north of O'Donnell Heights. A few minutes later, officers spotted the Dodge truck in the 6300 block of Hudson. Police said the truck stopped and two men ran away. The victims' names were not immediately available.
