Western District

Shootings: Two people were about to enter a dwelling in the 1200 block of Harlem Ave. about 10:25 p.m. Tuesday when at least two gunmen fired several shots at them, hitting each in the leg. Lakeisha Burgess, 17, and Juan Brito, 26, were in stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Arrests: Police investigating the shooting Monday of two people in a house in the 1900 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. arrested two men Tuesday. Anwar Brown, 18, a resident of the house, was charged with a handgun violation, discharging a firearm and reckless endangerment. Reginald Knight, 28, who lives on the same block, was charged with possession of narcotics.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A male, 18, was riding a bicycle in the 600 block of S. Streeper St. about 7:30 p.m. Monday when another male struck him with his fists and stole the bicycle, valued at more than $200.

Stolen vehicle: A man was paying for fuel at a service station in the 1300 block of E. Fayette St. Monday when someone Drove off with his 1981 Chevrolet with tags MEL 401. The victim had kept the engine running because of a faulty ignition system.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A deliveryman for Triple C Wholesalers in the 2300 block of Loch Raven Road was unloading merchandise in the 5300 block of Park Heights Ave., about noon Tuesday when a gunman ordered him to open the safe in the truck. When the driver told the gunman that he didn't have the combination, the gunman stole 29 cartons of cigarettes valued at more than $800.

Southwestern District

Assault: Three men, one with a handgun, were in the 1900 block of N. Rosedale St. Monday night when they attacked a 35-year-old man and struck him several times with sticks and the gun. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1991 Plymouth with temporary tags 69139P was stolen Tuesday in the 3300 block of Abell Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A box containing 100 compact discs, all valued at $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Nissan Stanza parked in the first block of E. 23rd St.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Bank robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed First Union Bank in the 1800 block of Reisterstown Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

Parkville Precinct

Assault: An 18-year-old resident of the 8200 block of Laurel Drive was walking across the grounds of Parkville High School in the 2600 block of Putty Hill Ave. about 1 a.m. Tuesday when he was approached by three males wearing black trench coats. When the victim tried to flee, the others struck him several times with their fists and one hit him with a piece of wood. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Franklin Square Hospital.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: An automatic dishwasher of unknown value was stolen between Friday and Sunday from a house under construction in the 3200 block of Kelox Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the first block of Maryland Ave. Tuesday and stole a gas-powered lawnmower valued at more than $200
