Southern District

Stolen car: A four-door Honda with tags EAP 095 was stolen Sunday in the 3500 block of Second Ave. in Brooklyn.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 600 block of S. Fremont Ave. during the weekend and stole tools and a television, all valued at more than $200.

Robbery: A boy, 12, was riding a bicycle in the 1700 block of Washington Blvd. about 3 p.m. Sunday when two older males, one with a handgun, ordered him to dismount. Instead, the boy began fighting them. The gunman threatened to shoot him, and he surrendered the bicycle. He was uninjured.

Southeastern District

Stabbing: Police were seeking an unidentified man in the stabbing of Orlando Torres, 19, about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at a social function at the Ukrainian Center in the 2300 block of Eastern Ave. Torres, of the first block of S. Washington St., was stabbed in the lower torso. Police arrested two men at the scene who, they said, provided the unidentified man with the knife. Torres was admitted in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A 1999 Toyota with tags BCW 472 was stolen Sunday in the 3800 block of Old Frederick Road.

Burglary/arrest: A man, 20, was arrested Sunday and charged with breaking into a neighbor's house in the 4700 block of Sayer Road and stealing property that was recovered.

Northern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of Independence Ave. through a rear door Sunday and stole a kitchen stove and a refrigerator, all valued at $1,000. The house is being renovated by Habitat for Humanity.

Stolen vehicle: A 1993 Isuzu Amigo with tags M058726 was stolen Sunday in the 4300 block of York Road.

Stolen vehicle: A 1994 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck with New York tags 4AR580 was stolen Sunday in the 4000 block of Linkwood Road.

Theft: Someone entered the Conservatory at Druid Hill Park Sunday and stole 11 palm trees, each 4 feet tall, valued at more than $300.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Bank Robbery: A man robbed Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust Co. in the 2000 block of E. Joppa Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 12:30 p.m. yesterday. The robber wrote a note demanding money on a piece of paper and handed it to a teller, who gave him money. The robber was seen driving south on Perring Parkway from East Joppa Road in an unknown model Plymouth with unknown tags. No weapon was displayed.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A golf bag with 13 clubs was stolen Sunday from a garage in the 2000 block of Skyline Drive. At a nearby tennis court, the bag and six clubs were recovered.

Essex Precinct

Robbery try: A man armed with a canister containing a chemical irritant entered the 7-Eleven store in the 1900 block of Eastern Blvd. about 3 a.m. Sunday and ordered a clerk to give him money from the cash register. When the clerk refused, the man sprayed the employee in the face, then fled without any money. The clerk was not injured and no arrest had been made.

Burglary: Someone entered an office in the 2100 block of Eastern Ave. through a door during the weekend and stole two fire extinguishers and two vases, all valued at nearly $200. Two vases, valued at $60, were destroyed.
