Western District

Shooting: A man, 22, was in the 800 block of McKean Ave. about 2:40 p.m. Sunday when an unknown assailant shot him in the right chest, left hip, right wrist and right upper leg. Police said the victim, who had been shot before, was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was in serious condition last night.

Robbery: A man was selling newspapers in the 1700 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway about 3 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a brown station wagon , stopped, got out and asked for change for a $10 bill. When the victim removed his money, the other man pulled a handgun and robbed him of $70 before driving away.

Southeastern District

Theft: A gold-colored 1988 Volkswagen Jetta with tags HBM 94 was stolen Saturday in the 100 block of S. Curley St.

Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at nearly $400 was stolen from a house in the 100 block of S. Belnord St. Sunday by someone who entered through a rear kitchen window.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player and stereo equipment, all valued at $800, were stolen from a car parked in the 1000 block of Block St. in Fells Point Sunday.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Dodge van with tags M338944 was stolen from the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Sunday after the owner left the engine running and the vehicle unlocked while he was in the store.

Burglary: A hedge trimmer valued at $100 was stolen from a house in the 3300 block of Pinkney Road Sunday by someone who entered through a rear door.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A woman, 35, was in the 2000 block of N. Forest Park Ave. about 9:15 p.m. Sunday when a man sprayed her in the face with a chemical irritant and robbed her of more than $100.

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1999 GMC Yukon parked in the 3200 block of Wilkens Ave. Sunday and stole a camcorder, digital camera and a 35 mm camera, all valued at nearly $2,000.

Stolen car: A 4-door 1996 Mazda with vanity tags LYNNC was stolen in the first block of N. Ellamont St. Sunday.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 1990 Chrysler with tags GDY 731 that was stolen Sunday in the 4600 block of Manordene Road.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Shooting: Two men were fighting in the 3600 block of Commerce Drive after their cars collided about 5 a.m. Sunday when someone in a crowd that gathered fired a shot that struck one of the combatants in the back and shoulder. The wounded man, 18, was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in good condition. No arrest had been made.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary/stolen car: Someone entered an apartment in the first block of Warren Park Drive over the weekend, stole a set of keys and drove away in the occupant's 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass with tags GVE 820 that was parked outside the apartment.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun and the other a shotgun, robbed a Burger King in the 8000 block of Liberty Road of an undisclosed large sum of money about 1 a.m. Sunday. Before the gunmen fled, they forced two male employees into a walk-in freezer. After several minutes, the employees exited the freezer and called police.

Parkville Precinct

Assault: Two men were fighting in the 3200 block of Hiss Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday when one stepped back and warned the other he had a gun while gesturing as if armed. Police said the other man retrieved a baseball bat and struck the other man with it. The injured man was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and both men were charged with assault.

Burglary: More than 40 compact discs, valued at over $400, were stolen from a house in the first block of Mopec Circle between June 15 and Sunday by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

Vandalism: Several vehicles, mail boxes and signs in the 1900 block of Mountain Ave. were spray-painted between Friday night and early Saturday. An estimate of damage was not available, and no arrest had been made.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: An 18-inch, 15-speed mountain bicycle valued at more than $400 was stolen from a shed in the 600 block of Peach Orchard Lane Sunday.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 8600 block of Saxon Circle over the weekend and ate food from the refrigerator, drank beer and took a ride in the occupant's car and returned it. Before leaving the house, the intruder or intruders stole at least 50 video games and their accessories, all valued at more than $1,500.
