Hopkins APL to honor inventors at ceremony June 27

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory's Office of Technology Transfer, in Laurel, will hold its first Invention of the Year awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m. June 27 at the Kossiakoff Center.

More than 100 inventions have been disclosed since the office's inception last July. The ceremony will honor 126 researchers and name the lab's top inventions for 1999. Each of the top three inventors will be awarded an Invention of the Year plaque and a cash award.

Business-financing concern moves to Bendix Road
