Songwriter to help launch library's summer program

ESSEX - Ray Owen, an award-winning songwriter, will visit the Essex branch of the Baltimore County Public Library at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Owen, who will present a program called "Song Imagineer," will launch a summer reading program at the Essex library. Free tickets may be reserved by calling the library at 410-887-0295.

Sneaks the Cat, the library's summer reading mascot, will make an appearance at the event.
