Prostitution sting nets 7 in Jessup

Six people were being held in the Howard County Jail after being arrested by undercover police officers in a prostitution sting operation in Jessup on Wednesday night.

A seventh person was charged and released on her own recognizance yesterday.

The arrests by the department's vice and narcotics section, special assignment section and patrol division were made at Trucker's Inn in the 7400 block of Assateague Drive.

Three men, including one from Fort Meade, were arrested on charges of soliciting undercover officers for sex. Four women, including one from Glen Burnie, were charged with offering sex to undercover officers.
