Police seek quick-handed register robber

County police are looking for a robber who grabbed money from the cash registers at two West County businesses early Saturday.

The man escaped with the money as clerks rang up purchases at a 7-Eleven in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road about 4 a.m. and at a Dunkin' Donuts in the 1500 block of Annapolis Road about 5:30 a.m.

Police said the clerk at the doughnut shop tried to close the drawer as the thief reached in, but he pulled her hand away and took off with the cash.
