Robbery/arrest: A woman, 28, was in the 200 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 6 a.m. Saturday when a man armed with a handgun demanded her property. Before the woman turned over cash and other items, the man spotted an approaching police car and fled into Patterson Park. After receiving a description of the man, Officers Donta Booker and Todd Edick entered the park and stopped a man believed to be the gunman. A search of the area near where the man was detained revealed a .32-caliber revolver believed to be the weapon used. Charged with attempted armed robbery, possession of a deadly weapon and related offenses was Jermaine Willig, 22, of the 400 block of N. Curley St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: At least two cellular phones, cash and a camcorder were stolen Saturday from a house in the 6200 block of Wallis Ave. by someone who entered through a rear door.

Robbery: A man, 23, was in the 2300 block of Tioga Parkway about noon Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $300.

Burglary: A gas-operated lawn mower was stolen from a house under construction in the 4000 block of Barrington Road by someone who entered through a door Saturday .

Southern District

Aggravated assault: During an argument Saturday afternoon between a boy, 12, and a girl, 10, in the 2000 block of McHenry St., the boy threw a knife that struck the girl in the left hand, causing a minor injury. The boy was arrested as a juvenile and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon.

Theft: A 1998 Tomas-Targa brand mo-ped with no tags was stolen Saturday in the 2600 block of Insulator Drive.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 1999 Honda with unknown tags that was stolen Saturday in the 1700 block of Johnson St.

Theft: Someone entered a 1992 Mazda ProtM-igM-i parked in the 1900 block of AlluvionSt. and stole a cellular phone and a cooler containing beer Saturday.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Hand and power tools, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Clarenell Road during the weekend.

Theft from vehicle: Cash and several compact discs, all valued at nearly $150, were stolen from a Toyota pickup truck parked in the 3600 block of Benson Ave. during the weekend.

Burglary: Lawn care equipment valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from a shed in the 3200 block of Wentworth Ave.

Robbery: A male, 17, was in the 2200 block of N. Ellamont St. about 1:20 a.m. Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of personal property and a bag containing several pieces of property.

Stolen car: A black 2000 Honda with tags HCN 540 was stolen Saturday in the 800 block of Mt. Holly St.

Eastern District

Stolen car: Police were seeking a tan 1983 Chevrolet van with tags 400100M that was stolen Saturday in the 1700 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.

Northern District

Theft: A 17-inch, 18-speed mountain bicycle valued at $1,000 was stolen Saturday from a shed in the 5600 block of Greenspring Ave.

Burglary: Lawn care tools valued at more than $100 were stolen Saturday from a garage in the 200 block of Chancery Road.

Burglary: Several pieces of jade and gold jewelry, all valued at nearly $1,800, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 200 block of E. 33rd St. by someone who entered through a rear door.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two men who entered Gordon's Jewelers at White Marsh Mall about 5:30 p.m. yesterdayand grabbed at least four display trays containing an undisclosed number of diamonds, all of unknown value.

North Point Precinct

Arrest: Officer Michael Mertz was patrolling Quad Avenue near the city-county line about 7:20 a.m. Saturday when he noticed a parked Mitsubishi Eclipse occupied by a man and woman. After learning the woman was a prostitute and that money had passed between the couple, Mertz made a cursory search of the vehicle and recovered a loaded .38- caliber Smith & Wesson revolver from under the front seat. The man, 25, from Harford County, was charged with illegal possession of a handgun. It was not known if charges were placed against the woman, 40.

Parkville Precinct

Vandalism: A man, 22, entered his ex-girlfriend's home in the first block of Hinesleigh Court between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday and damaged or destroyed $2,000 worth of furniture. The woman was advised to seek a warrant for the man's arrest.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A 21-inch power lawn mower was stolen Saturday from a shed in the 3900 block of Setonhurst Road.
