Fire department will present bingo, youth summer dance
The Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department, 6275 Old Washington Blvd., will hold a Basket Bingo at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Doors and the kitchen will open at 6 p.m. Admission is $15 at the door, $13 in advance.
The department also will hold a Summer Dance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 17 for children ages 9 to 15. Proceeds will be used to purchase uniforms for junior members of the volunteer fire department. Admission is $5.

Patapsco Middle School presents `Bye, Bye Birdie'
Patapsco Middle School will present "Bye, Bye Birdie" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Mount Hebron High School auditorium, 9440 Route 99, Ellicott City.
Judy Templeton, MargotVincent and JillianDowns will direct the middle school cast of more than 100 pupils. Tickets are $3.

Storyteller, folk musician to perform at libraries
The Howard County Library will present storyteller and folk musician Bill Wellington at 4 p.m. June 19 at the Miller branch, 9421 Frederick Road, Ellicott City. Wellington also will perform at 7 p.m. June 19 at the Elkridge branch, 6540 Washington Blvd., Elkridge.
