Marriner selected to help Philips Foods build market share

PhilipsFoods Inc. has selected Columbia-based MarrinerMarketing Communications as its agency of record.

Philips Foods, producer of crab meat and specialty seafood products, has retained the marketing firm to build brand awareness and expand the company's market share for seafood products.

Marriner provides a range of services, from traditional media to electronic and Web-based content development.

Rodbard opens East Coast headquarters in Columbia

Rodbard& Associates, a Chicago-based consulting firm, has opened its main support center for East Coast and government operations in Columbia.

The consulting firm is an international provider of enterprise resource planning consulting services with offices in Chicago, New York and St. Louis.

Business tips group passes $250,000 lead to member

LeTipof Howard County, a business leads group, set a new chapter record by passing a tip to a member worth a potential $250,000.

The group is averaging more than 50 new leads a week. New members are still being accepted in many business categories. Meetings are held from 7:01 a.m. to 8:31 a.m. at Oakland Manor, 5430 Vantage Point Road, Columbia.
