Family Fun Fest

No teeth pulling, just loads of fun Saturday at the Family Fun Fest at the National Museum of Dentistry. Hear storytelling from Maria Broom and join Eric Beatty for puzzles and games during "The Adventure of Detective Dictionary." Enjoy face painting, a treasure hunt, lessons on good oral health, giveaways and prizes for children. Food will be available, but don't forget to brush.

The Family Fun Fest will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the National Museum of Dentistry at 31 S. Greene St. $2; children 6 and under free. For information, call 410-706-0810.

BikeJam 2000

Bring the kids and their bikes to Patterson Park Saturday for BikeJam 2000. The event has mountain bike racing, contests for decorating children's bikes, a bike rodeo, games, stunt bike riding demonstrations and a parade. Amateur cyclists will lead the demonstrations and give tips to young bike riders. Artwork containing parts of bikes will be on display as well as antique bikes and unicycles.

The BikeJam begins at 9 a.m. Saturday in Patterson Park and runs until 4 p.m. Free. Call 410-276-3676 for more information on the event.
