Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1993 Honda parked in the 300 block of Gittings St. Sunday and stole a bicycle valued at $500.

Burglary: After breaking into a house in the 3800 block of S. Hanover St. through a rear door overnight Saturday, the intruder stole a set of keys. After leaving the house, the intruder drove off in an occupant's red 1991 Ford Festiva with tags HFK 350.

Assault/arrest: During an argument at their house in the 300 block of S. Mount St. Sunday afternoon, a man struck a woman in the face, police said. Arrested and charged with aggravated assault was Carl Bryant, 30.

Central District

Theft: Two jackets with a combined value of about $80 were stolen from a 1996 Chevrolet parked in the first block of E. North Ave. Saturday.

Robbery: After a female motorist picked up a man on North Broadway about 12: 30 a.m. Saturday, the man pulled a handgun and robbed her of an undisclosed sum of money as she drove in the 1800 block of Rutland Ave. Later near the robbery scene, police arrested a man and charged him with armed robbery.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed The Taste of China, a restaurant and carryout in the 2000 block of E. Monument St., of more than $100 about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday.

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who hit a woman in the face with his hand and robbed her of $30 in the 800 block of Bonaparte Ave. Saturday night.

Robbery: Shortly after a 28-year-old man cashed a check for more than $300 in the 2300 block of Harford Road about 1: 15 p.m. Friday, two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of the money and keys.

Breaking and Entering: Someone entered Select Snow & Skate Inc. in the 1600 block of Thames St. between 4 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. yesterday and stole $104.

Burglary: A cordless telephone and a 27-inch television, all valued at nearly $230, were stolen from a house in the 500 block of N. East Ave. Saturday by someone who entered through a window.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 3000 block of W. North Ave. Sunday and stole a deep-fat fryer valued at $500.

Theft: While a female motorist was asking for directions in the 4200 block of Edmondson Ave. Saturday, a man reached into her open car window and stole her purse containing cash and property valued at more than $100.

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave a Rite Aid store in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. without paying for batteries valued at $11.

Stolen car: A gold-colored, 4-door 1992 Mitsubishi no model with vanity tags 4NYOTM was stolen in the 2000 block of Denison St. Saturday.

Northwestern District

Shooting: Three men were shot about 12: 40 a.m. Sunday by unknown persons after an argument in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Ave. None of the injuries was life threatening.

Assault: Police were seeking three men, at least one of whom had a firearm, after a man walking in the 5600 block of Reisterstown Road about 2: 15 a.m. Friday was fired on from a car. The victim escaped injury.

Robbery: Police are seeking a man who robbed Pizza Deal in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. of $100 about 8: 35 p.m. Friday while implying he had a handgun.

Robbery: Two men knocked down a woman, 21, in the 5500 block of Park Heights Ave. about 9 p.m. Friday and stole her purse containing cash and a pager, all valued at about $140.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the High's store in the 10000 block of Harford Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 12: 40 p.m. Sunday.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at more than $3,000 was stolen from a 1993 BMW parked inside Walter Jay Auto Painting in the 3800 block of North Point Blvd. Saturday.

Burglary: Power and hand tools, all valued at $500, were stolen from a house under construction in the 900 block of North Point Road Saturday by someone who entered through a rear door.

Burglary: A cultured pearl necklace valued at $600 was stolen from a house in the 3400 block of Glenside Road Saturday by someone who entered through a window.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and other property, all valued at nearly $18,500, were stolen from a house in the 14000 block of Falls Road in Cockeysville Saturday.
