Census Bureau is giving tests in Carroll County

The Census Bureau is giving tests for potential census takers, crew leaders and office clerks for the 2000 Census.

Census employees work in their community, set their hours and can be reimbursed for authorized expenses. All positions are paid competitive wages.

Although appointments to take the test are recommended, walk-ins are welcome. Bring two forms of identification. Tests will be given:

At 9 a.m. today at the Department of Social Services, 10 Distillery Drive, Westminster

At 10 a.m. today at Union Bridge Town Hall, 104 W. Locust St.At 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. Thursday at the Business and Employment Resource Center, 224 N. Center St., Westminster.

At 10 a.m. tomorrow in the community room at Carrolltown Center, Liberty Road, Eldersburg.

At 6 p.m. tomorrow at South Carroll Senior Center, 5745 Bartholow Road, Eldersburg.

At 3 p.m. tomorrow and at 2 p.m. today at Taneytown branch library, 10 Grand Drive.
