Triple-A International League

Rochester 2, Indianapolis 1: Jose Herrera's RBI single in the seventh inning lifted the host Red Wings past the Indians.

Herrera singled home Francisco Matos, who led off the seventh with a triple. Matos gave Rochester a one-run advantage with an RBI double in the second inning.

John Parrish (2-2) gave up a run and six hits, striking out six and walking one, over seven innings to pick up the win, the Red Wings' third straight.

Gabe Molina tossed two scoreless innings to notch his fourth save.

Kurt Bierek had an RBI single in the third for Indianapolis, which has dropped five consecutive games.

Tom Fordham (1-2) allowed a run and two hits in an inning of relief and took the loss.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 2, Portland 1: Sean Douglass (5-2) pitched seven strong innings as the visiting Baysox defeated the Sea Dogs.

Douglass, who earned a win for his third consecutive start, allowed one run and five hits.

Rick Short had an RBI single with two outs in the first inning and Luis Matos tripled and scored on an error in the fourth to give Bowie a 2-1 lead.

Sean Maloney, who entered the game with two outs in the ninth and the tying run on second, retired John Pachot on a pop-up to capture his fourth save of the season for the Baysox, who have won six of their past nine games.

Ryan Moskau (1-3) took a tough loss, pitching all nine innings and allowing just two runs -- one earned -- and five hits.

Wynter Phoenix had an RBI double for Portland, which has lost four of its last seven.

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 5-5, Wilmington 2-4: The visiting Keys swept a doubleheader, coming from behind in both games.

In the opener, Papy Ndungidi hit a bases-loaded triple in the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie. Franky Figueroa had hit a two-run homer in the fifth to tie the game.

In the second game, the Keys rallied from a 3-0 deficit to take a 4-3 lead in the top of the seventh, but the Blue Rocks tied it in the bottom half of the inning to force extra innings, and the Keys won it in the 11th.
