Tour of 101 homes to cover metro area for month

The Home Builders Association of Maryland and building product manufacturer MASCO Corp. are sponsoring the Showcase of Homes, which runs through June 25.

The showcase will feature free tours of 101 new single-family homes, townhouses and condominiums in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Frederick, Harford, Howard and York (Pa.) counties. The homes are open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition, from June 9 to June 25, the $1 million MASCO Home of the Year will be open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 7,389-square-foot French Provincial-style home is on 6.75 acres at 4023 Cloverland Drive in the Cloverland Farms development in Dulaney Valley. The cost for touring the home of the year is $10 per person or $5 with a Showcase passport validated by at least five homes on the tour. Children under 12 are free. The passport is available at all homes.
