Pirates: Optioned P Brian O'Connor to Double-A Altoona. Recalled OF Emil Brown from Triple-A Nashville. Purchased contract of P Josias Manzanillo from Nashville. Designated P Jose Parra for assignment.

Rangers: Named Bobby Jones full-time dugout coach.

Reds: Optioned IF Gookie Dawkins to Double-A Chattanooga.
