A Finksburg man accused of firing a shotgun in the direction of a neighbor has been released on $20,000 bond, court records show.

Jared G. Baraloto, 26, of the 2800 block of Baltimore Blvd. was arrested late Friday on one count of reckless endangerment. No one was injured in the incident.

According to court documents, state police were called to a Finksburg apartment by Brian M. Hall. Hall told troopers that a man fired a shotgun through his doorway after calling him to the entrance.

State police said the man told troopers that Hall went to his apartment to fight, and fearing for his life, he grabbed his shotgun and ordered Hall to leave.

He said Hall went upstairs and he followed, pumping the shotgun to place a round of ammunition in the chamber, and the gun discharged accidentally.
