The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Billow Row: 9000 block, Long Reach. Someone took a lawn mower from an open garage between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday.

West Columbia

Gold Needle Way: 11900 block, Harper's Choice. Someone entered an open garage and stole lawn equipment about 2: 30 p.m., May 3. Suspects are two men in their early 20s, seen driving a white Nissan Maxima with damage to the passenger side.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Calvert Drive: 7000 block, Elkridge. Someone entered an open garage door between noon and 4: 30 p.m. May 3 and stole a set of golf clubs and a lawn mower. A suspicious cream-colored pickup truck occupied by two men was seen driving through the neighborhood about that time.

Avoca Ave.: 4800 block, Ellicott City. Someone pried open a basement door and took bags of coins between 11 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.

Red Barn Way: 7900 block, Elkridge. Someone entered Mayfield Woods Middle School through an unsecured window and took two computers between 2: 30 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

Silverstone Place: 10200 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered the home through an unlocked garage door between 8: 15 p.m. Sunday and 10: 15 a.m. Monday and took money, damaged furniture and poured paint on the carpet.

Rogers Ave.: 3000 block, Ellicott City. Someone brock into an apartment and took jewelry, electronics and clothing between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday.

Rogers Ave.: 3000 block, Ellicott City. Someone Entered an apartment and took a bottle of liquor between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. April 28.

Rogers Ave.: 3000 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered an apartment through a bedroom window and took clothes, electronics and money between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. May 1.

North Laurel

Washington Blvd.: 10100 block. Boulevard Video was robbed by a man who implied he had a gun about 8: 40 p.m. Friday. The suspect is a black man, in his 20s, 5-feet-8 and wearing a navy blue shirt, dark pants and a blue baseball hat. He had a blue nylon jacket wrapped around his right hand.

Western Howard

Warwick Way: 2100 block. Someone stole golf clubs from the Waverly Golf Course about 8: 20 a.m. May 3.
